What is Instagram's video size limit in 2026?

Why is my compressed video still over the size target?

Hardware encoders are variable-bitrate: they aim at your target rather than hitting it, so the first pass can overshoot. FitPost measures the real file and re-encodes once at a corrected bitrate. If it is still over, it tells you the honest number instead of looping forever.

Are my videos uploaded when I compress them here?
